Torty Player will give developers control over the audio tag introduced with the new HTML 5 standard, allowing them to build custom audio players that don't rely on local browser plugins or add-ons.
Torty Player works natively in all modern browsers, but in case developers want to support older browser types and versions, a Flash-based player can be used as a fallback. Torty Player uses the Flash version of Flowplayer in this case.
By default Torty doesn't come with a user interface package that you can use out of the box, but it includes the tools to use one nevertheless. Just check the player's README file for all the details regarding player skinning.
